You might think that they are too picky, but many years of experience have shown this approach works - the extra time to do a good seed pays off in a huge way when there are hundreds or thousands of people getting the show! 1d. Audio - The Coaster Factory
The Coaster Factory is the missing manual for EAC. Be sure to set your settings to match those on the configuration page, and use Secure mode to rip audio CDs. Drive offsets aren't critical for you to worry about at first, but the other settings are. Just work your way down the list.

If you use the settings in EAC to call an "external compressor", you can set EAC to rip, encode to flac, and name and tag the files for you.

2. DVD
Use DVD Decrypter or SmartRipper to rip the DVD files to your hard drive, into a folder labeled with the show date, artist and location.

3. Make Torrent
Once you've got a set of files in good shape (good source, named right, etc), you need to create the torrent. Make Torrent is one easy way to create new torrents, or to check or revise existing torrents. Or, if you use Azureus, go to File, Create a torrent. No matter what you use to create the torrent: it's good to put a little description in the Comment field; and you absolutely have to use the announce URL for dimeadozen - something like http://bt.dimeadozen.org/announce.php - check the site for the current version. Also, if you are seeding DVDs, please be sure to use a "piece size" of 512K.

4. Upload to dimeadozen, then download and seed
Once the torrent is created, upload it to dimeadozen. Then download it again to get your personalized version of the torrent file (associated with your user name). Use the newly downloaded torrent to seed the show.

CD Wave
The easiest and best way to split a show that's in one big wav file into separate tracks. It will cut only on a sector boundary, so your shows won't have that error.

The short answer on the Replay Gain option for flac is, it's your call. If you do use it, be sure to treat all files as one album.

Sector Boundary Errors - discussion and batch files
You can avoid SBEs in your seeds by getting your audio editor set right, or by using CD Wave. But it's always a good idea to check shows you've received from others before you seed them. Note that flac frontend will fix SBEs - but you have to be careful in how you use it. Make sure the files sort in order!

Source Analysis / Detecting MP3 Sourced Audio
The point of analyzing the audio for a show is to make sure that what you see is consistent with the type of source you are supposed to have, to avoid circulating shows that were converted to mp3 or some other lossy format.
