I have been sick most of this month with some sort of sinus infection.I
went to the Doctor today.(got antibiotics)As we all know part of going
to the doctor is having your blood pressure checked.Part of the normal
check in with my doctor, even before I see him.Mind you I went for what
I thought was a sinus problem and/or a cold.The next thing I know is I
am on an EKG machine.I was told my blood pressure was very high, above
mormal. But what the doctor seemed more concerned with was that my pulse
rate(heart rate)was sky high and in the dangerous area. All turned out
ok with the ekg but what a scarey turn of events when I was not
compaining of chest pains etc.I see now why they check your bp as you
arrive to the Doctor.
He wants to do a stress test on me.It has to be approved by my
insurance co.and will be done in the near future. He up'ed my blood
pressure med I was on and gave me something to help me relax and wants
to see me AGAIN TOMOOROW to recheck bp.On top of all this I was told I
needed a endoscopy procedure to examine my esophagus.Talk about turning
50 soon,is this what happens!?
I will not be on this pc thing for awhile so that I may recoop from all
the above.I am keeping my attitude good and am doing ok!
