Yes,ALL politcal views are welcome here. Thats the reason I started
this group and WebRings some time ago. I ran into the same problems
myself with other John Denver groups and WebRings.Most John Denver
groups are conservative,its been that way since his death. I am
surprised by this. As most of his political views,the environment,the
Animals,Mother Earth,Human Kind were LIBERAL. I do not say I know
WHAT John thought politicaly,I am talking about his work while on
this Earth. The only reason I can think of why this is so,is he did
come over as a "Goodie Two Shoes" and thus attracted this type of
following.I feel that was a credit to John,the diversity of 'fans' he
had and still has. He touched us all in some way. I do feel however
that this type of exclusion since his death effects his legacy in a
negative way and is not true to his work and song. The only
other 'group' I can think of is John Denver lives ( you can find this
link on the left of this group site where its says links) They are a
family orientated John Denver group,but accepts a diversity of
thoughts when done with respect to differing views. I am a member and
recommend them. You are more then welcome here,not only that we need
you here as this was the thought and reason for this group and
multiple WebRings. I stay busy with work and life it seems and do as
I can,so feel free to step in and get it going!
