Thank you Randy. I think John would want us to keep fighting for the
environment and work towards peace. You are right that he had this
talent to appeal to everyone. Still I was really disappointed that
most of his fans are so conservative. How can they approve of Bush
when he has done everything possible to destroy the environment? And
of course war is the ultimate destruction of the environment not to
mention all those lives lost and untold injuries to innocent people.
I liked John most of all for his environmental and political
activism. And he had that great talent to express it in a song
like " What are we making weapons for" and countless others. John
stood up for the environment and for peace. I often wonder how he
would have felt about what's going on now. He probably would have
written a song and for the first time his song would have been banned
from being played on the radio for being too critical of the war and
Bush. I just can't help wondering.
