This is a place for you to discuss your favorite intelligent rock music.

What's intelligent rock music, you ask? It's all in how you personally define
it, but in general it means rock music that isn't cliche and is intended to
convey ideas and feelings more substantial than "baby I love you"-type music.

Some bands/artists that fit in this category are Pink Floyd, Tool, Splender, A
Perfect Circle, 30 Seconds to Mars, Rage Against the Machine, Jellyfish,
Stone Temple Pilots, Roger Waters, David Bowie and Smashing Pumpkins.

If you like your rock to have some brainpower behind it, this group is for you.

And if you're a musician and you classify your music/your band's music as
intelligent rock, feel free to tell the group about yourself and your own
music. Unsigned bands are definitely welcome here.

I know most people wouldn't consider BT rock, but I definitely think he fits the
category of intelligent rock enough that he's worth being discussed in
this new group.
