was anyone at either of the fantagraphics benefits in seattle this
weekend? i went to the croc on sunday night, with kinski opening, and
it was pretty rockin. i love fantagraphics...and bts...and kinski...so
with my birthday coming up this week, i couldn't have asked for a
nicer present. bts played a slower, poppy, melodic version of
"joyride" which made my weekend. (although i'm a little bit tired of
the "cortez the killer" extended jam...but i can't begrudge them their
fun.) also picked up a cool show poster with art by dan clowes, peter
bagge, robert crumb, etc. very fun overall, and nice to see them in a
smaller venue.
