Legendary Canadian singer/songwriter Neil Young is set to continue his musical
legacy by appearing as a musical guest for a whole week's worth of "Late Night
With Conan O'Brien" shows.
"Conan" has been running for over 10 years now and is renowned for its
residencies - which have included The Strokes and The White Stripes in the past.
The show has also housed some of the world's biggest acts for their first ever
television performances including Radiohead, Coldplay, No Doubt and Sheryl Crow.
Now that it's Young's turn to bring his music to the show, the audience might be
greeted with a bit of nostalgia from his prolific 40-year career, but are more
likely to be privy to the newer sounds of his latest album "Prairie Wind".
The episodes will air from November 1st-4th, and host Conan O'Brien had a
characteristically quirky quote on the matter. "I wanted two solid months of
Neil Young," said O'Brien, "but he told me it was, quote, 'getting creepy.'"
