To see a rave review of their show in zurich just brings back my own memories of watching one of the most energetic, wonderfully talented, exciting group of musicians a person could ever get a ducket to go see.....

I have been lucky enough to catch the bums on a few occasions. I used to live in Fresno California and drove 120miles one evening (each way) TO go see them at an all ages venue in Stockton.

Had the opportunity to catch them at a little intimate venue, Club Fred, in Fresno one night and that was a great evening. Small club, great sound even took advantage of the opportunity to twirl Miss Getit for a few bars. That kitten's got such smooth moves!  Don't worry, Lucky grabbed my dame and took her out for a lil test ride himself. We loved dancing and we love the bums (not to mention Miss Getit *Thump -ump, Thump-ump*) We were in heaven!

 We were hooked!

I think it was the following week there were playing a place in a little seaside town called "Palookaville(?)".. well we loaded up and drove the nearly 5 hours to go see them for that all ages show.

Had to laugh they recognized us (we were hard to miss dressed to the nines) the moment they arrived and thanked us for making the trip... Yeah THANKED US! Can you believe it? Lucky even sent us a couple of drinks.. what a guy!

What I wouldn't do to have those opportunities again.

Keep on Swinging guys. Dammit we love ya!

Subject: [bumrap] Swingin' Show in Zurich!

Hey!

I was lucky enough to catch the Bums on their last night at the Casa
Bar here in Zurich, and I've gotta say that I was blown away!  It was
a super swingin' show, and I just wanted to post a quick thank you for
an awesome night!

I really wish I had heard sooner about your shows, but I hope that
your touring brings you back to Zurich real soon.

My thanks again for a fantastic show.

Your new fan,
Paul HD.
