THIS UNDISCOVERED GEM ( MDEX.PK)

Watch it go crazy on Monday morning

February's Feature Company...
Madison Explorations, Inc.
Symbol: MDEX.PK
CURRENT SHARE PRICE $0.36

Madison Explorations, Inc. (MDEX.PK; $0.36) S.T. Target $2.75

Madison is incorporated in Nevada. Shares trade in New York under the ticker
symbol MDEX. Current price per share is just 36 cents, nearly 300% above its
September low. Opportunities as clear and sparkling as this one come along
rarely. Carpe diem!

There are those rare times when the decision to invest in a particular stock or
industry is a no-brainer: homeland security in the wake of 9-11, gold in the
fall of 2001, and China in early 2002, for example, to name a few prescient
calls. The Canadian diamond industry and diamond explorer Madison Explorations
present us with just such a unique opportunity.

Canadian Diamonds: An Industry in the Rough
Canada is entering only its sixth year as a diamond player, but already it's the
world's #3 diamond producer, behind Botswana and Russia. From 2002 to 2003,
Canadian diamond production more than doubled to 11.2 million carats. In a very
short time, Canada has gone from a non-entity in the diamond biz to a supplier
of about 15% of the world's rough diamonds. Today, nearly half of all funding
for diamond exploration goes to Canada.

Even more impressive than the huge growth itself is the fact that that huge
growth has come on the strength of just two active diamond mines: Ekati, jointly
operated by Dia-Met and BHP, and Diavik, jointly operated by Aber and Rio Tinto.
Tahera's Jericho Mine will go online next year. Snap Lake, a joint venture
between De Beers and Winspear - is slated for full production in 2007. It will
propel Canada passed Russia into the #2 spot amongst the world's diamond
producers - with just four active mines! In terms of end-market, Canadian
diamonds have a crucial advantage over the competition: Unlike diamonds from
Angola, Liberia, and Sierra Leone, for instance - "blood diamonds" used to
finance bloody political conflict, Canadian diamonds are "clean." Consumers'
preference for clean diamonds is one of the reasons Tiffany struck a deal with
Tahera to buy or market all the diamonds Tahera's Jericho Mine produces.
Tiffany refuses to sell "blood diamonds."

Madison Explorations: An Investor's Best Friend
The Northwest Territories has been the preferred target area for diamond
explorers. Shore Gold's discovery of a 19.7 carat rock at its Star Diamond
Project last year intensified exploration in Saskatchewan, the second most
active exploration area in the Northwest Territories as measured by money
inflows. Madison Explorations is the most active explorer in Southern
Saskatchewan. That includes the De Beers-Kensington partnership. Madison's
primary area of exploration is Scout Lake, which, according to the Saskatchewan
Geological Survey, is one of the two most promising diamond areas in the
province. That conclusion confirms the work of Dr. Joseph Montgomery, the
director of five mining companies and Madision's lead diamond explorer. Dr.
Montgomery has spent more than a decade surveying the area. He is a person of
considerable expertise and is exceptionally well regarded in the metals and
minerals discovery business. Dr. Montgomery has been involved in more than 300
prosperous mineral explorations all over the world, including projects for
Diamond Fields. Based on his ten years surveying Scout Lake, Dr. Montgomery
believes it is one of the most promising diamond locations he's ever seen and
that the area could be home to the largest diamond deposit in the province

Madison is the only active explorer in Scout Lake, which, from a geological
standpoint, has many of the same characteristics as Fort à la Corne, where Shore
Gold made last year's spectacular discovery. Madison is currently
exploring two other potential diamond properties in Southern Saskatchewan,
Bulls-eye and Bronco. The results of early indicator studies at both properties
have been very favorable.

Winspear, Dia-Met, and Aber each partnered with a more senior diamond producer.
Madison is currently the only active explorer in one of the most potentially
diamond-rich regions within a national industry that is experiencing dazzling
growth and whose full potential is only just now being tapped. We would not be
surprised to see Madison follow the trend and partner up with a De Beers, for
instance. In the meantime, look for additional diamond property acquisitions and
discoveries by this aggressive upstart - and for substantial share price
appreciation over the mid- to long-term.

Luck-E-Letter March 2006: Steve Lucky & the Rhumba Bums

Hey everybody,

We had a ball at the Derby and Memories in Southern California two weeks ago.  As planned we shot a music video – thanks for all who turned out!  Some of this footage was taken as part of a documentary to be presented to the History Channel, as part of the effort to designate the Derby as a Los Angeles historical landmark, thus saving it from planned demolition.  Go to savethederby.com and sign the on-line petition, join the newsletter, and see how you can make a difference.

Thursday March 9 we return for One Night Only to the world famous Top of the Mark in San Francisco.  Come out and dance with us.  We’ve also got lots of debut shows coming up including a special political action dinner-dance in San Francisco sponsored by Senator Barbara Boxer, a show at Joe’s of Lafayette, plus debuts on the East Coast in April.

For blues fans, this month we’ve got two special shows.  Steve Lucky presents a blues piano extravaganza at Biscuits and Blues featuring pianists Wendy DeWitt, Bob Welch, and Steve Lucky, backed by Little Charlie & the Night Cats’ rhythm section (and former Rhumba Bums) Lorenzo Farrell on bass and Jay Hansen on drums.  Wendy has played with Hank Ballard, Otis Rush, Steve Freund and others.  Bob Welch has toured with Charlie Musselwhite, Rusty Zinn and many others on both piano and guitar, and has been nominated for 2006 best new artist debut by The Blues Foundation Awards (former W.C. Handy  Awards.)   Don’t miss this unique night of blues piano magic!  And the Carmen Getit! band makes a rare appearance in San Francisco at the end of this month.

Now stay tuned for our upcoming shows!

LUCK-E-LETTER APRIL 2006: STEVE LUCKY & THE RHUMBA BUMS

Good Evening Ladeez & Guntlemen (and you commoner-type folks too)

We hereby would like to invite you to one of the multitude of events we're taking part in right quick now, like tonight, tomorrow night, or almost any night you look, we're going to be performing somewhere and we'd like you to be there too.  For instance, Thursday March 30 is one of the all-too-rare appearances by the ledge-and-dairy Carmen Getit! band at Biscuits and Blues in San Francisco.  As some of you already know, we're making our debut with Steve Lucky and the Rhumba Bums at Joe's of Lafayette on Friday March 1 (and there’s NO cover charge!).  Then four nights in a row on April 4 through the 7th at some of our favorite local venues before we get ready to head to the East Coast the following week for our first appearances there in years.  Tell your friends we’re coming their way, and come on down and see (and hear) what you've been missing!

We just got back from the Redwood Coast Jazz Festival in Eureka, CA, where for 3 days we played to enthusiastic audiences and dancers.  And on Saturday night Carmen & Steve joined members of the Paul DeLay band to open the show for headliner & blues piano legend Pinetop Perkins, and to jam along with him.  Pinetop is playing as strong as we’ve heard him in recent years, and sounds and looks great.

Now stay tuned for our upcoming shows!

Luck-E-Letter May 2006: Steve Lucky & the Rhumba Bums & More

Hello everybody,

We just got back from 5 shows on the East Coast where we had a ball!   Lots of musicians who’ve played in the Rhumba Bums over the years turned out to sit in with the band at Swing 46 in Manhattan.  In attendance were George Gee and trumpeter/vocalist Walt Szymanski of NYC’s George Gee Orchestra, 3 saxophonists: Rob Sudduth (Ben Whalen) who wrote “Where’s My Gravy?”, Matt Cowan, and Matt Hong (formerly of the Blues Jumpers and plays with lots of bands like Ron Sunshine, and Lavay Smith) and drummer Darell Green.  We had most of them up at the same time for an extended jam.  And at the historic Glen Echo Ballroom in D.C. we performed for 700 people.

We’re back in California now with a strong lineup of great night club dates and tons of outdoor music festivals and concerts this summer.  We’re proud to be included in this year’s San Francisco Jazz Festival, with a free concert at Stanford Shopping Center in June, and a jazz cruise on San Francisco Bay this October with Lavay Smith & her Red Hot Skillet Lickers!

And this Friday we return with the full Steve Lucky & the Rhumba Bums to Biscuits and Blues – we haven’t performed there since October!  Great food, awesome ambience, full bar!  We love performing at and seeing other artists at this great local venue.

Now stay tuned for our upcoming shows!

Luck-E-Letter June 06: Steve Lucky & the Rhumba Bums & more
Hey everybody,

We're excited to return to Santa Cruz this month after a 3 year hiatus .  We're performing at a new venue, the E3 Playhouse, located right in downtown Santa Cruz and it's owned by a musician.  Tell your friends!  And to win free tickets, you've got several chances next week:

1) Tune into Mike Cleary on Magic 63 radio in the Monterey & Santa Cruz areas Tuesday 6/6 at 9:30 am and again later in the week, magic63.com.
2) Tune into Pete Fallico on KUSP 88.9 fm Santa Cruz Monday June 5 between 9:30 & midnight.
3) Tune into Charlie Lange also on KUSP next Friday June 9 between 1 & 3 pm.

The Rhumba Bums are thrilled to kick-off the San Francisco Jazz Festival's Summer Concert series next Thursday 6/8 at the Stanford Shopping Center - and it's free to the public.  And don't miss an opportunity to hear the Bums at one of our favorite San Francisco venues Friday 6/9 at Biscuits & Blues.  It's all ages and has good Southern Cuisine, and best of all, it's an intimate venue great for both listening and performing.

And this month we're excited to return to Southern Cal for dates at the Derby and the Huntington Beach Pier Concert Series, and we make our debut in Minnesota!  Tune into KFAI community radio in Minnesota for a chance to win free tickets to our shows there.

Thanks to all our fans who turned out Memorial Day Weekend for the 4 day Sacramento Jazz Jubilee - we had a ball.

Couple of other things:

Our main computer died, and we're working off an old machine with old data, so not everyone will receive the newsletter this month, and others may receive it twice as we rebuild the system.  We apologize for this.  So spread the word about our shows to folks, especially those who you think signed up for the newsletter in the last 10 months. And if any one has expertise in trying to save data from a hard drive before re-installing the OS, please let us know!  We'll pay for this service!

Steve Lucky is selling his Yamaha grand piano, however he won't trade it for computer help.  If anyone is interested, please contact us.

Now stay tuned for our upcoming shows!:

Come out everybody!

The club is under new ownership. They said they will stop having local bands

The internet has completely changed the business world. It has changed the whole concept of how to be successful in a home business. It has also provided the opportunity for many to give up the 9 to 5 world and seek their dream on the internet. Some have made this transition seem easy and others continue to struggle.

Have you been thinking about making this change? Do you have what it takes to make this a successful move? Let's take a look at a few of the things that ultimately decide who makes the grade and who goes down with the ship.

As with so many things, the ideas that really 'work' on the Internet are often the most simple. In fact, they are often the ideas that most people would just discard as being too ridiculous to even try (this doesn't just apply to the Internet of course - many great inventors/entrepreneurs have been laughed at in the past only to have the last laugh themselves...).

Anyway, I have been following the story of one such idea over the past couple of months and although I am sure many of you will already be familiar with it, I wanted to share some thoughts with you.

Hey everybody,

What a great summer…….we’ve been biz, biz, busy, but have more outdoor Summer Concerts coming up so come on out.  There’s bound to be a show near you……if you don’t ever leave San Francisco, then you can still see the Steve & Carmen Show at Enrico’s on Aug. 18th  or come to the ultra-charming roadhouse Rancho Nicasio on Sept. 16th for the full Rhumba Bums experience.

This month there are 3 special shows, “Crazy in Love with Patsy Cline”,  featuring Miss Carmen Getit, Lavay Smith, and New Orleans vocalist Ingrid Lucia (The Flying Neutrinos) performing their favorite Patsy Cline songs.   Also featured on these shows are pedal steel virtuoso Bobby Black, and country/jazz guitarist Jim Nichols (Jim is only at the Freight & Salvage Show on 8/11).   And all of this backed by pianist Chris Siebert, bassist/vocalist Steven Strauss, and drummer Darrell Green.  There’s an interesting article in the San Francisco Chronicle today, 8/10, about Ingrid and the Patsy Cline Shows (http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2006/08/10/NSGDOIM4LB1.DTL), as well as articles in other Bay Area papers.

Other “big” news - Carmen Getit & Steve Lucky are expecting a baby in November!  They’ll be taking some time off from public shows.  Many have asked whether they want a boy or a girl, and they say they’re hoping for a drummer.  They’re taking suggestions for names…..Steve likes ‘Hambro’ if it’s a boy, and ‘Marvel’ if it’s a girl.  So Carmen says please, send your ideas!

Now stay tuned for our upcoming shows!:

Have you ever wondered why some people are magnets for wealth and most others just flounder by the wayside? I bet you want to know the secret traits these wealthy people possess.

Steve Jobs got rich creating and selling computers. J.K. Rowling is wealthy because she switched gears and started writing books. Jeff Bezos got rich selling books. Oprah Winfrey became wealthy connecting to people on TV. Wayne Huizenga became rich by hauling trash. Bill Gates started coding software and is a multi-billionaire.

Their businesses have nothing in common. Just look at your community. People are becoming wealthy in a variety of businesses.

What do Oprah, Jeff, Steve, Bill, Wayne, and J.K. have in common. Commit the following eight traits to memory:

Ladeez and gentlemans, brethren and cistern, and the rest of all y’all too

You have only a few opportunities to see the lucky family of bands in the next couple of months, so come check out one of these upcoming shows and see the ‘big’ changes we have brewing.  This coming Saturday night, Sept. 16, we’ll be back for a rare appearance at our favorite swanky Marin roadhouse, Rancho Nicasio.  This is the Rhumba Bums’ last nightclub performance before we take our birthday break (you know about the guest artist in Carmen’s green room, right?).  Rumor has it our friend and famous fan Jan Wahl will be there that evening, so perhaps you could get an autograph or an answer to one those nagging classic film questions that keep you up at night.

Earlier that afternoon, (Sept. 16), Carmen Getit! (the band) will be making a rare appearance at a special show, the farewell performances (sob!) at our ol’ favorite East Bay artsy dive, the Ivy Room.  It’s an all-night affair, but we’ll be doing a 45 minute set at 5:00 before we run off to Rancho Nicasio.  Come on by the Ivy Room and say goodbye to an institution that has given us so much great music, good times, and bad hangovers.

On Saturday Sept. 23, Steve Lucky (without the Rhumba Bums) will be featured with the New Orleans All-Stars at Andrew Jaeger’s House of Seafood & Jazz (and Killer Pianos) at the Condor.   Also, the two last performances this year for the Steve and Carmen Show at the River Rock Casino will be on Sept. 19th and 26th.

There’s one more chance to see the Rhumba Bums at Sunnyvale’s dance emporium Steppin’ Out on Oct. 4th (no more swing dances for the Bums after this until 2007, so grab your shoes and come on out!)

Don’t forget our last public performance of the year, the SF Jazz Festival “Swingin’ On the Bay” Brunch Cruise with our pals Lavay Smith and the Red Hot Skillet Lickers.  This is less than 3 weeks away from Carmen’s due date, so who knows, there could be a guest appearance of either a Coast Guard helicopter or even an early appearance of our new drummer ‘Beat Girl‘!

Now stay tuned for our upcoming shows:

Luck-E-Letter December 2006: It's A Girl! Steve Lucky & the Rhumba Bums

Hey folks

We’ve got some fantastic;  news………the newest and bestest Rhumbabum has hit the stage!

And now ladies and gentlemen, we’d like to introduce to you Miss Monique Rose!

She was born November 8th at 2:59 am after a relatively short (8.5 hrs) but eventful labor, 7 pounds, 5 ounces and 20 inches long.  Carmen performed wonderfully as always, but this time really showed her true grit by going through the entire birth without any drugs or pain medication. (Carmen said her mom was right - it wasn’t that bad)  Monique came out ready to sing with nice long fingers, a captivating personality, and (do I even need to mention this?) is absolutely stunningly beautiful!

In a display of Steve’s natural showmanship, he tried to steal the spotlight from the ladies by getting stung by a bee in the face Tuesday afternoon shortly before Carmen went into labor.  His eyes nearly swelled shut by the time we reached the hospital, and he was sent to the ER.  Having then missed much of labor, he was requested to return to the ER after an hour, at which point the Doc finally checked Carmen for the first time and said she was fully dialated.  The rush was on in the Hospital to get Steve back to the Labor & Delivery Room, while Carmen was told not to push through contractions.  When Steve made it back the Doc checked again and it turned out she was 9.5 cm (instead of 10) so the pressure was off…for Steve.

In a poetic foreshadowing of the big day, our hot water heater broke its water tank on Monday, and Steve redeemed himself by installing a new one.

We brought her home Thursday to Chez Lucky, and on Friday, Carmen’s two large, remodeled restaurants opened exclusively for Monique’s business and delight.  She’s eating heartily and gaining weight quickly, and everyone is in a state of bliss.

Steve Lucky: “I’m so in love with her!”

Uncle Tim: “She has a wise face”

Carmen:  “This is the best birthday present ever”

Aunt Snezhana: “I want another one”

Lucio: “She’s holding down a (guitar) chord already”

Pediatrician at her first checkup: “She’s perfect”

Berge: “She’s not as wrinkly as I thought she’d be”

Cousin Natalie, 5 years: “When is she going to grow up and be a big girl like me?”

Uncle Matt: “I don’t buy the bee story; Carmen you hit Steve during labor didn’t you?”

Now stay tuned for our upcoming shows:
