-Happy New Year, everyone! As we all know, BUSH played in MTV's Times
Square Studios in New York City (1515 Broadway Ave.) last night for the 2
Large New Year's Eve party. The guys did a great job with "The Chemicals
Between Us" and "Machinehead" as Gavin sported his "Jesus Rocks" shirt.
The crowd was very much into them as their performance even broadcasted
outside on a very large screen in Times Square. There were a few
interviews with Gavin, one with Nigel, and one with Dave. Carson Daly, VJ,
accurately summed up the performance: "The vibe was hot, and Bush was even
better!" To check out more about the night, catch MTV News 1515 Friday,
January 7 and Saturday, January 8. -On MTV's TRL 99 of '99 (music video
countdown of the year), "The Chemicals Between Us" came in at number 66!

"'Letting the Cables Sleep' has already entered the FMQB charts, but not
the actual charts themselves, just in the Adds. They have the 2nd most adds
in the Hot Trax 100 with 28 and they're tied for 3rd most Modern Rock adds
with 24... but those numbers are definitely going to rise once every
station gets ahold of the single next week." Quoted from:

**12.30.99
-On KROQ's list of Most Requested Songs of The Decade (300 total), BUSH
made the chart a few times: #75-"Comedown" #85-"Machinehead"

-According to some fans, Pete Black's book, Eight Frames Per Second, has
already been released in some stores. If you know where to find it, please
let me know!
*What is Eight Frames Per Second?
- From Bushnet.com: Eight Frames Per Second
The photographer who captured the images of Bush during their rise to the
top is releasing a new book entitled Eight Frames Per Second in early
December. Peter Black, photographer and long time friend of Gavin, has been
with the band since its inception and is famous for his shots of Bush
during both Sixteen Stone and RBSC tours. Eight Frames Per Second
chronicles Peter's experience with the band during these tours, especially
the early years, providing a unique take on the bands' rise to rock 'n'
roll stardom. Bushnet.com will feature an exclusive interview and online
chat with the author and photographer soon, so stay tuned for details. The
book is being published through Omnibus for $19.95. Peter is also launching
an exclusive web site soon called everythingbush.com, where you can

-So, what was the influence for BUSH's new video, "Letting the Cables Sleep?"
According to some people, the idea came from a 1973 movie titled "Last Tango
