THE HELLZ KITCHEN SHOW - PRESS RELEASE
T.H.K.S. formed in 1997 on the streets of Toronto. Their music can
be described as an original mix of heavy metal, electronica,
industrial, and hard rock. To say that they take the word unique to
a whole new level is an understatement. The band has gained
recognition with all different types of music lovers due to their
intense live show.
"They don't fit into any one musical style. Their songs make you
think and their live show will make you wonder why you haven't been
hearing about them for years." (One Eighty Magazine) Scott
McClelland of Carnival Diablo describes T.H.K.S. as "A rock band
that melds The Insane Clown Posse with Marilyn Manson and Kiss.
Carnival music to bang your head to". One experience is not enough!!
T.H.K.S. has performed numerous shows across Ontario and Quebec with
great bands like Hate Department, Moxy, Not by Choice, Danko Jones
and Nash the Slash. In the summer of 2003 T.H.K.S. played Toronto's
Edge 102.1 Indie Spotlight. The response was so intense that Yonge
Street was shut down and mounted police were called in to disperse
the crowd. T.H.K.S. has been a finalist in 97.7 HITZ FM's Rock
Search 2000 and placed 5th in Canada in the Emergenza Music Festival
2003. T.H.K.S. was awarded the Musicians Choice Award during this
festival. Their single, "Justify," was included on a compilation of
the best artists distributed by Columbia Music, Germany for the
Emergenza Festival.
