THE CHORDSMEN CHRONICLES July 10, 2009 INTERNATIONAL HIGHLIGHTS!! Reflections From The most incredible week of barber shopping is now over and everyone is still in a daze from all the excitement. Not only did the two top chorus’ set scoring records but two chorus’ of very young guys from Sweden and New Zealand also placed in the chorus top 10. This, I believe, reflects the growing popularity of barber shopping with young men throughout the world. Crossroads, the inside favorite quartet, did win the quartet championship and Storm Front, in my opinion the funniest quartet in the history of barber shopping, took 3rd. Non American quartets also did well placing 4th & 10th. My favorite moment came during the Harmony Foundation Show when the Vocal Majority, Ambassadors Of Harmony, Max Q and Vocal Spectrum (over 300 men) sang “One Voice”. - Rick Chapman COMPETITION RESULTS!!
