Re: [carlenecarter] Wild Flowers review

Good news that she did the Opry again. I have meet CC a few times and been in
her home in Madison. We were neighbors. She is very down to earth. "What you see
is what you get" with her...I just hope this clean/sober CC gets it back
together for good this time and gives us the great music in her soul again.
Thanks for this update.

Hi Carlene Fans,

We just got back from a quick weekend trip to Nashville.  Remember
that first website I built: The Hunt for Carlene Carter?  Well, I
got wind that she was doing the show in Nashville til the end of
this month, and we went down to see it.  I actually saw (and heard)
her on stage.  I came this close (fingers close together) to meeting
her.  She had to run away after the show though and could not come
out to sign autographs for her fans.  I did meet the producer of her
show, and I asked her to give Carlene a gift from me.  It was a
bumper sticker showing her picture and the name of my website.  I
hope she got a laugh out of it.  I wasn't allowed to take pictures
at Carlene's show, but we did see her sing also at the Grand Ole
Opry, and I did snap 3 pictures of her on stage there.  I will post
these on my site once I get the film developed.

Carlene did sound and look great.  She colored her hair brown to
look more like her mother June for the show.  I hope she colors it
back to blonde before her next tour.  The show was fun and amusing.
Carlene has put a lot of work into learning her part, and she
talked, acted, and sang as beautifully as ever.   Kudos!!!

Is Carlene going to record another album? The producer did not
discard the rumors---so the hope is still there.

Please keep those updates coming folks. My dream to meet Carlene
continues. My dream to hear her sing (and act) has finally come true.

DVDaffy  :]
