Fellow Carlene Fans,

I was there! This wasn't the first time I had seen her. We ventured to
Nashville last summer to see the Wild Flowers show. It was awesome. A
long drive from Virginia, but well worth it. Carlene looked and sounded
great. Unfortunately, I did not get to meet her as she had to run
immediately after the show.

Thanks to the new Carlene Carter fan club website, we got the news of
the Philly show well in advance. A shorter drive, another great show,
and the ultimate blessing of actually meeting Carlene after the show.
She looks and sounds so good---and she is such a sweetheart! I finally
got my autograph (it only took me 7 years :) ). I also got a hug and
some pictures. Needless to say, I have been on cloud 9 ever since.
Carlene said she was recording again and I hope this leads to a U.S.
Tour next year to promote it.


I will post some of the pictures on the Hunt for Carlene Carter
website, and if I can figure out how it is done---I will send some here
to this group for the file/photo cabinet. All of this: Carlene's
comeback, the concert, the recording, and the meeting are all dreams of
mine which have come true. For everyone who has helped me in
fulfilling these----------Thank you so much! This is all further proof
that dreams do come true, and prayers do get answered.

May Carlene rock for a 1000 years!
