Celine Dion's "A New Day... Live in Las Vegas" CD is out in Europe
today (June 14, 2004). Tomorrow it will be released in the US and the
North America. Amazon.com has started shipping pre-ordered CDs. Is
live CD worth buying?

The beauty of any live album is that it gives a real-life rendition
of what happened. This CD is not an exception from this rule. Sony
Music promotes the CD to the fans who already visited the Las Vegas
show as a way to keep their memories fresh. But of course the live CD
is also an invitation to those fans who haven't seen the show yet to
do so ASAP.

Listening to this live CD you feel like you are in the audience, you
almost see Celine's funny face when she speaks between the music
numbers. It's a pity we can't see what's really going on on the stage
at that moment coz it's gotta be something spectacular. That's where
the bonus DVD comes in handy. In France the live CD came with a bonus
DVD "One Year... One heart". It has some amazing show scenes. The
bonus DVD is a preview of the fully-fledged DVD coming out this fall
2004.

As you'll see the songs are known and have been heard on other
Celine's albums. Here though they are recorded live. Plus, 2 last
songs on the album have been studio recorded and added to the CD.
Ain't Gonna Look The Other Way track is a nice surprise.
