Fellow Celine-ophiles,
PBS Hawaii is proud to present Celine Dion Live. If you weren’t able to
experience her live, stage spectacular in Las Vegas at Caesars Palace, you won’t
want to miss this public television special on Sunday, September 14 at 7:00 p.m.
local time.
Celine put it best when she said:
"This is a show about pain, doubt, laughter, talent, beauty, music, friendship,
songs. A show about people. About trust. About yes and maybe no. About
ambition, tears and smiles and teamwork. More than anything, though, it is a
show about passion."
A New Day was a highly successful concert that ran from 2003 – 2007 at the
Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Created and directed by the renowned Franco
Dragone, who also brought to the stage Quidam, O, and Mystère, the show fuses
song, performance art, theatrical innovation and state-of-the-art technology.
After a five-year run, the show set a record of more than 3 million spectators,
earning more than $400,000,000.
Accompanied by a cast of 70 dancers, musicians, characters and artists, Dion
captivates and captures the imagination of millions of fans, as well as those
who aren’t familiar with her music. Please join us for a final peek at the
concert that broke records and garnered dozens of awards. Although the show has
stopped running, every day is A New Day....
