Celloposse (www.celloposse.org) is for sharing cello-related information about the San Francisco Bay Area and nearby counties, especially upcoming performances, which are listed in the calendar. Celloposse is particularly interested in "non-classical" cello performances (bluegrass, blues, celtic, hip-hop, improvisational, jazz, klezmer, rock, etc), with undiminished interest in classical cello.

Unfortunately, to avoid spam, it is necessary for the moderator to approve memberships, and only members may add events to the calendar, view photos, or post messages. However, you don't have to be a member to view the calendar! If you are a member, please add your own gigs to the calendar, or cello-related events you recommend. If they so choose, members receive e-mail reminders of calendar events, which have averaged 5-8 messages per month lately.
