- Weekly blogging about bands or songs in the podcasts.
- Organizing groups of people to do the blogging and forum posting.
- Burning CDs of shows and playing them at pubs, events on St. Patrick's Day.
Most news works best on a timely fashion. Meaning, this is new,
therefore, this is cool and people be interested in hearing more about
it. So knowing that there is a new podcast is a great way to share
info. But even better is to tell people a bit about the cool bands. And
I think that would be the goal of the promo group. To hype the bands in
the podcast. Say, "The new Irish & Celtic Music Podcast is out, and
wow! Just heard a cool song by Patrick's Head. That's by far my
favorite in the podcast. It's 'Black Is the Color', but I LOVE the way
they do it."
Get my drift?
I am, at someone's request, putting together
cafepress t-shirts, and would like to come up with a similiarly cool
idea for stickers as the bads one.
