My piano accompaniment is sounding fine lately; I could play a good rhythm against your 6-string Martin lead, T....... just a small keyboard??  :->

Has anyone heard of Bob Abrams of Trillium Octave Mandolins in NH?  He also plays the button-box and has been around here and the midwest for a while.  Website  http://www.octavemandolin.com/about.html  and has recorded; I wonder if he plays down here?

I'm looking at wooden flutes now, and if anybody can suggest a good make to begin with, something affordable with maybe a couple of keys, that would be marvelous... Ted S., I like the sound and design of your flute.  You did research - any ideas?
