11/23/2003 - Greetings to all celtic music lovers. We are a little sister group to the original Irish Traditional Music group.
Feel free to check it out also http://groups.yahoo.com/group/irishtraditionalmusic/.
Hope that you will join us and share with us your specific interest in Celtic music. Are you a musician?, Playing with a group? or just like to listen as I do. What is going on in your area? We intend for this to be a place where we can let folks know what is happening in your corner of the Celtic World. Who knows when one of us might come visiting and need a celtic music fix. This is the place to find out where to go no matter what part of the world we live in!!!
This is NOT a place to get free music. There a many places where one can listen to Celtic music, and places to buy it. Some Celtic artists may even have free downloads on their sites for their fans. If you know of sites please add them to the links page; putting them in a message can make them really hard to find if one doesn't know where to look.
If you have some good photos of festivals, sessions, special performances, or just great photos of Ireland post them on photo page and maybe I will feature one on the front page...
