Nine-8ths Irish Announces New Addition!!
Yes that's right people...Nine-8ths Irish has a new member: Brady
McKay, well-known jazz singer in the Sacramento area and beyond, is
now a part of the Nine-8ths Irish family!!
We are SO excited about Brady's formidable talents and what she is
adding to our band's sound, and she will be part of our second CD,
which we are working on now, and will be available in the Fall 2009.
Brady will also be joining us for the CityFolk Festival in Dayton,
Ohio for the 4th of July weekend, so come and give us a listen!!

Nine-8ths Irish Heads to CityFolk Festival, July 3-5 in Dayton, Ohio
This 3-day multi-cultural celebration features the best in traditional
and ethnic music, dance and arts from across the United States and
around the world, and N8i gets to kick things off with at 5:30pm on
Friday, with Fireworks at 10pm.
-Saturday we'll be back for two shows, 1pm at the Dance Pavilion for a
Ceili, and again at 5:15pm on the Family Stage.
-Sunday we're on the Family Stage with a Workshop at 1pm with Michael
Cleveland and members of Flamekeeper, then finishing up with a 4pm
set. Other artists at this fabulous festival include Bela Fleck with
Oumou Sangare, Jim Lauderdale, The Duhks, and the legendary Ralph
Stanley.
