Re: on any given day...

i definitely think any guy who has found himself completely blown
away by some girl or the idea of a girl can relate to that song. you
are correct on that one. it reminds me a lot of childhood and how the
hours seemed to stretch on forever. i guess it's much like "union
town", where he sings, "living lifetimes in a day." it never ceases
to amaze me how the imagination and mind simply unfolds all of those
hours out before us, especially in those cases of a beautiful girl.
all of the endless possibilities and whatnot just seems to stand
there.

i think anyone who has grown up in a small "fieldtown", again, kind
of relates to that sentiment in the song above. there was nothing
around, nowhere to go, only endless hours of each day to explore the
imagination. a kid is armed with nothing but time. it's a bit
disheartening as how we get older the bullet chamber seems to grown
increasingly more empty. uhhg...the magic of youthful idealism.

take care of yourselves,

tj

I agree. It's not so much 'the girl' as it is the conflicting emotions and imbalance regarding her. For example: "I ought to hate you by now, but I can't give...
