hey james,
i'm still around. i'm always around. i'd still love to get my hands
on that tab when you get around to polishing it off. i was just
listening to "try for thunder" on my way to work this morning
wishing i had the chords/tab to mess around with.
my guitar playing is just that--play. nothing spectacular at all.
i'm still not playing tab much, but rather playing off of straight
chords. i'm a strummer at heart--a bad one at that. i just don't
have that motivation to play for hours at one sitting. i know many
people like that, but i'm not one. i pluck around for 20 minutes
here and there. that's about it.
i did take the time to work out some chevy downs songs. i don't know
if you have heard much of their material. it's david moore and seth
from chamberlain along with some assorted other players including
tim jones of old pike. it's good old timin' music with a modern edge
to it.
anyhow, glad you are back. i would love to see some more
comprehensive tabs to the small collection of songs we have and
others still floating around. any hope of playing with the small
framework of chords/tab is pretty hopeless as far as my playing goes.
take care of yourselves,
tj
