Re: [Chamberlain Fan Club] sheet music

Hi TJ-

My guitar playing is limited so I'll do the best I can to try and explain :-)
The G#m chord, play a G# barre chord at the 4th fret and just remove your middle
finger, which should normally be fretting the G string at the 5th fret.

The B chord you're referring to may be a Bsus2 chord - just play a B power chord
at the 2nd fret on the A string (fret the B, the 5th, and the octave B on the G
string) and let the B and high E strings ring. Another way to play that chord
with a fuller sound is to play a barre chord B at the 7th fret, with the root B
on the low E string. Instead of barring all the higher strings, just fret the
main notes of the chord, and again let the B and high E strings ring. It not
only sounds a little nicer (to my ears, anyways), it allows you to just slide
your fingers down to 1st position and let got of the low E string to play the E
chord which is next in the progression.

Sorry if I've confused you, that's what happens when a drummer tries to play
guitar... :-P

hey russ,

what's the fingering for a G#m chord? how about a b? when i saw them
play live, there was this funny looking chord thrown in that had the
appearance of a power chord--i thought maybe that was the b, but i
wasn't positive. i'm not even quite sure what it was to be honest. it
looked like it was played on frets 1 and 3 or 2 and 4. i always
though a b was a barr chord, but it wasn't barred in a typical
fashion.

thanks man and take care of yourselves,

tj
