Dear Friends,
I totally subscribe what Jim's said. The Chameleons as a band are incomplete
without Dave - proof of this is the huge difference between the Chameleons and,
e.g., the Sun and the Moon. The Chameleons as persons can do without him, the
band can't - I'm afraid. And these are two separate entities. I also agree with
Jim that we know Mark's view but haven't heard Dave's response yet.

For me, Dave is a core part of the Chameleons sound. For them to perform
without Dave is like U2 without the Edge. It might be a good band, but it
wouldnąt be the Chameleons. As for being difficult, I remember someone else
on this group describing him as down to earth and approachable. I respect
Mark, but I doubt his is the only view of what happened with the band.
