i`m jun,thanks mr. or ms. moderator for accepting me to join this group.i`m from
the philippines.since 1986,the chameleons had been my favorite band.this band is
not known commercially here in my country(it`s not being released locally here
up to now),and i feel sorry for my countrymen who hadn`t gotten the chance to
know the greatest band in the history of mankind.only few filipinos knew of this
band bec. the ordinary person here listens to commercial,corporate stupid
music.the chameleons is the only band that ever really affected my life.whenever
i listen to this band,it`s as if my consciousness and my soul`s being uplifted
and taken to another place.it`s like feeling complete.mark burgess is a really
super genius,way far greater than lennon/mccartney.i have only 6 albums of the
chameleons(bec. it`s so hard before to obtain one here in a 3rd world country
like mine)namely,what does anything mean basically,strange times,free trade hall
rehearsals,live shreds,peel sessions
and an old e.p. of 3 songs(in shreds,nostalgia &less than human).i also had a
mark burgess &sons of God live album.all of my collections are only recorded on
cassette tapes which i recorded from my friends`lps,cd`s bec. i had not much
money to order imported ones.i took really care of my cassette tapes of the
chameleons songs bec. to me,they are more precious than gold.
