I'll agree with you about Dream Theater. Although I'm not really into
their music, they're very talented. But when you start comparing Pearl
Jam to Zeppelin, well...that's just nonsense.

And as for there always being boy bands and female singers who are only
up there for their looks, it is much, MUCH, more prevalent today than
decades of past. The Carpenters wouldn't even be signed to a major
label today because even though she had an incredible voice, Karen
Carpenter was no looker like that no-talent bimbo, Brittany Spears. You
take 1 example and try to show me that things have always been the
same. Well I'm not buying it. Times have changed...and not for the better.
