Hi Mark,
I have a quick once-over and have jotted down my findings based on the track
length and the available discographies around. I could be completely out on
some of these, so wait until you get feedback from others before making a final
decision to what they are.
I have found that many of these CD compilations are hacked together from any
available source (vinyl mostly), and that if you get any information on the
sleeve notes, it's invariably wrong. The track length method of identity in
cases such as these, is relatively accurate, bearing in mind that the people who
put these compilations together, don't really want to edit or enhance the tracks
from whatever originals they use. They will also use readily available tracks
that are common to many compilations, and only very occasionally do you get a
rare track, so I've assumed (again) that these tracks would have been issued
many times before and anything that looks like a match, but is rare, has not
really been considered.
Hope this helps!

1 Ornithology (Parker-Harris) live, quote from Jingle Bells (4:39)
Charlie Parker Quintet Royal Roost, Live off radio broadcast New York Jan 1
1949.
2 Don't Blame Me (McHugh-Fields) studio (2:43)
Charlie Parker Quintet WOR Studios, New York Commercial for Dial Records 1947
Nov 4
3 Groovin' High (Gillespie) live (4:42)
Probably Charlie Parker Quintet Royal Roost, Live off radio broadcast New York
Jan 1 1949.
4 Cool Blues (Parker) live, very compressed sound(7:21)
Charlie Parker Chez Paree Nightclub, Montreal, Canada Private tape 1953 Feb 7
5 Be-Bop (Gillespie) live (3:44)
Charlie Parker Quintet Royal Roost, Live off radio broadcast New York Jan 1
1949.
6 Scrapple From The Apple (Parker) studio (2:57)
Charlie Parker Quintet WOR Studios, New York Commercial for Dial Records 1947
Nov 4
7 Riff Raff (Strong) live, compressed sound like Cool Blues, probably same
session, fades out but sounds like song was finishing anyway (9:36)
Check out the Canada gig above. Title isn't Riff Raff, could be two tracks
running together?? Riff Raff and The Street Beat were often confused in track
listing. This could be the 1949 Carnegie Hall concert of Street Beat?
8 Round Midnight (Hanighen-Williams-Monk) possibly studio, talking in background
(5:04)
Only studio recording of this length was for Miles Davis Sextet WOR Studios, New
York Commercial for Prestige 1953 Jan 30
9 How High The Moon (Hamilton-Lewis) live (2:46)
Charlie Parker Quintet Royal Roost, New York Live off radio broadcast 1948 Dec
18
10 Street Beat (Thompson) live, fades out unfinished (6:56)
Not the right title. Fade outs normally indicate a radio broadcast, and that
would indicate this track:
Now's the Time, Charlie Parker and His All-Stars, Hi-Hat, Boston, Massachusetts
WCOP radio broadcast 1954 Jan, however the 1949 Carnegie Hall gig could also be
considered?
11 Move (Best) live, quote from Carmen (4:40)
Possibly Charlie Parker Quintet, Birdland, New York, 1950 May 15-16
12 Hot House (Dameron) studio (4:12)
Charlie Parker Quintet Royal Roost, New York Live off radio broadcast 1948 Dec
12

I'm looking for personnel, dates and locations for
these recordings. This is not a continuous session.
The tracks are separated by silence. There are no
announcements of any kind. The live tracks are all
from clubs (small audience), not auditoriums.
I've placed one-minute MP3 samples of each track in
the files section of this group.
