Subject: [charlie-parker] Bird on vinyl
Hello,
some days ago I was searching for Bird`s Rockland Palace concert
among my LP`s,which I have not listened to for a long time.(I found
the 2 record album-Charlie Parker records CP 502 and parts on Saga
(E))I also found many LP`s on obscure labels, some of which seemed to
be pressed in very limited editions and only for the purpose of
producing Parker records.Labels like Richelieu.Bombasi,ZIM,Grotto,
TransArk,MainMan,Crazed Olaf,Chazzer,Meexa discox,ESP-Bird,Okiedoke
and others.Does anyone know what happened to these small companies?
I plan to list the content of each LP and compare to existing CD`s
but that will take some time,a time that I donīt have until next year
perhaps.Anybody interested?
Best regards
