yeah, that´s the items every bird afficionade wants to hear!!!

the detroit bluebird inn with phil hill quintet (now´s the time;
inc.) will eventually be released by uptown records on a cd
entitled "detroit jazz before motown, 1945-53" in august!

the other two birdland shows (23.may and 27.june)! were sold at the
guernsey´s auction beginning this year from the privat collection of
chan parker for $531. (i think this tape goes to a japanese
collector -not sure about this.) maybe one day they come to a
brighter public. (hope so - last item is with sonny stitt and hank
mobley!)

btw, somebody has heard the new sensationel uptown release bird and
diz at town hall, 22. june 1945? it must be the release of the
year!!!!
