I went to Charlie's house at 151 ave. B  last night after seeing the great "LITTLE BIRD", Jimmy Heath playing his closing show at the Vanguard...He was great as usual. What a sound , the beauty of his tone!!! If you get the chance, don't miss him.

Charlie's alto was heard at 1 am this morning at Tompkins Square across from his house.
