First up is an amazing new limited run cdr release by Stray Ghost entitled
'Losthilde', an epic four piece composition of noise, beauty and sadness,
stylistically taking in elements of doom, ambient, shoegaze and postrock. You

In keeping with the more experimental theme this month, we have an exceptionally
good line-up for a gig we're calling "Towards The Singularity" at the end of the
month, in the beautiful new Dalston venue, Cafe Oto. Four acts will be playing:
Fighting Kites, an instrumental 3 piece band utilizing various combinations of
two guitars, two basses, two loop pedals, a drum kit and anything else at hand
to make noise; Erstlaub will be down from Scotland for his debut london show,
which I'm really excited to see; Mandelbrot Set will be showing off some of
their new compositions, and headlining will be a super special set from The
Village Orchestra, using a new max/msp patch he's currently working on for
performance, tied in with his fellow Marcian, Bryan/Beaker, doing live visuals

Last month's Funckarma release 'Dubstoned EP' has pretty much sold out in the
first four weeks! I think thats our quickest selling release yet - I'm down to
about 10 copies in the house, although it should still be available in stores.
I'll see how well the last copies sell and should probably be doing a repress
soon. Dubstoned EP2 is well underway also, and will be coming out on Germany's
Ad Noiseam in the next month or two.

Quite a few new Highpoint Lowlife projects being lined up to take us over the
next few months:

The Village Orchestra + friends - MPD Psycho soundtrack.
Dunno if that will be the final title, but a live recording made at this year's
Triptych festival in Glasgow - Ruaridh/TVO with Erstlaub, Production Unit,
Bovine Life and Konx-Om-Pax provided a live improvised soundtrack to the first
episdode of Takashi Miike's groundbreaking 6 part drama 'MPD Psycho'. limited
run CDR edition of 100. With extensive liner notes written by Ruaridh too.

Follow up to his excellent 'On Becoming An Island' album from last year.
Possibly ready for the "Towards The Singularity" gig - Also limited run CDR
edition of 100.

Mandelbrot - untitled
We've mentioned this for a while, an album of solo material Keung recorded last
year - lo-fi and nasty as hell! will get cracking on it soon! I think Keung is
going to re-record one of the tracks before release. limited run CDR edition of
100.

Got a whole bunch of other 12" releases planned for the upcoming months too -
projects from Fisk Industries, Tigrics, Production Unit, a split release from
TVO and Konx-Om-Pax, and a couple more projects planned with Funckarma. We have
a couple of new artists we've been speaking with about releases too, but i
shan't jinx them by mentioning the names until we have some kind of release
schedule worked out too.
