....hopefully pleasant, but, after having heard oumou sangare, or eight bold
souls (or, perhaps even both of them), one still wanted to hear more....please
recall that
the velvet lounge is situated not impossibly far south of grant park, which for
some list-recipients may be more conveniently located than the semi-wilds of
west logan square;
so this might be a relatively rare opportunity (some might dispute the use of
the term "opportunity" in this context, but they can write their own spamlike
emails) to hear
the quartet from hotti biscotti in the cozy, air-conditioned confines of the
velvet lounge.
we probably start around 8:30 pm (we may actually start closer to ontime than
may be the charateristic at biscotti) and probably will play two sets; unlike
biscotti, there is a cover charge..   the quartet tonight comprises (surprise) a
quartet.....
