DON'T JUMP ... IT'S A PLASTIC PARACHUTE!

AUGUST 1, 2003 (DENVER, COLORADO) -- Plastic Parachute, the powerful
Pop Rock quartet from Denver, Colorado will be releasing it's debut
CD in Fall 2003. This highly-anticipated release will be available
at retail locations throughout Colorado's front range, as well as
through the band's web site at www.plasticparachute.com.

Produced by Ronan Chris Murphy (www.venetowest.com), the band plans
to support the independent release by playing several showcases in
and out of their home state of Colorado.

Often compared with No Doubt, Foo Fighters and Incubus, Plastic
Parachute was formed through the songwriting efforts of Deb Hooks
(vocals) and Ricky Brewer (guitar). After adding members Josh
Keepman (drums) and Shaun Nelson (bass) in late 2002, the band
quickly climbed the ranks of the Denver/Boulder music scene, already
playing to some of Denver's largest stages.
