I bought a lot of versions of the ballades by
Zimerman, Rubinstein, Dang Thai Son, Horowitz, Pollini,
Ashkenazy, Harasiewicz, Arrau... but the best pianist is
none of the other, Zimerman, an 'aristocratic'
pianist.
