Yes, it looks like there aren't so many messages.
Anyway, my name is also Adrian, I played the piano a bit
for 6 years when I was 5. I gave it up though...
sometimes I regret it. But I can still play easier pieces
like the Op.28/4 prelude which I like so much. Most of
the pieces are too hard for me, I don't have much
time to practice. But I love listening to Chopin, his
music is so sad and melancholic... I love that. I like
the Polonaise Fantaisie and the Op.53 one. That's all
for now.

Yep, the 28/4 is great... I'm working on the 28/22, and I've done the Raindrop. I wish my skill extended to allow me to play the Heroic Polonaise, byt I'll...
I think the Heroic Polonaise is pretty hard... I love it! It's one of his greatest pieces. I also like the Polonaise Fantaisie op.61, the etudes are superb ...
What's your favorite? I think mine is the Fantasie-Impromptu but it is so simple to play. Most of Chopin's greatest pieces have been ignored and I hope...
I never really had a favorite because I loved the body of this great composers work, and never heard a piece I didn't like...but if I had to choose one, and ...
The Fantasy-Impromptu is my favorite piece too but I think it's so hard to play! I think it depends on one's skill at the piano. I don't know which great piece...
Barcarolle (op60) is one of my favorite Chopin works and I've considered attempting to learn it. I have never actually seen the score so bear with me when I...
Chopin was a very sensitive, and frail man who suffered, and finally succumbed to T.B. His music was inspired by his patiotism, and his emotions for certain...

Surely the Barcarolle is one of my favourites too. Yes, there are some double-trillings in the right hand. It is a black-key/black-key combination trilled with...
My most favorites are the Fantasie, the Scherzo No. 2, the first Ballade and of his easier works the Nocturne op.48 No.2 in f#-minor.
I truly admire ...
One must always remember that Chopin also had encredibly long fingers, so some things are a little more difficult for us people with shorter fingers, and must...

I have a very distinguished Doctor friend and he has expressed the opinion that Chopin did not suffer from TB, since no one has TB for that length of time ...
This could be a matter for research. Has the nature of TB changed? Are there different 'strains" of TB? How does motivation, an involvement in life affect the...
Why do we need to say who,in our opinion,is the best (or better) composer? How much poorer we should be if the music of either Chopin or Beethoven was not...
They certainly did not have the antibiotics and other drugs available in the nineteenth century.
These used to be able to conquer TB, in the latter part of...
Hey all Chopin lovers! Somebody just informed me of a great site which has tons of musical sheets from many composers, all for free. Check it out! I posted it...
I have sympathy for you in your struggle with the Preludes. Angela Lear has been working on these, with our mentor, The Professor, for over two years. Gaining...
Dear Members ,

As a new member of the Club I am surprised by the lack of activity and absence of any real controversy. Perhaps you are all too busy...
Now I wouldn't say it that way. Many pianists do treat Chopin's music with great freedom (me too, although I'm no professional), because you can put so much of...
