Dear Folks, I hope your summer is going/gone well and you are ready to get
back to singing. The Year before us looks exciting. The Oct concert is going
to be an absolute barn burner. The Ralph Vaughn Williams G minor mass is
exquisite, a cappella, double choir with solo quartet, The BENEDICITE with
full orchestra and some of RVW famous hymn arrangements that will make your
hair stand up and salute. Some new literature for the Christmas concert
along with our traditional fare. The Spring fund raiser and Spring Concert
will be combined into one concert at Heymann with guest artists PIANO4
(check out their website) and to end the year a concert with ASO.

The first rehearsal will be August 21 Monday at 7:00 PM at First
Presbyterian. It would be wonderful if we could get everyone back for the
first rehearsal. (Particularly to divide up and balance the SATB double
choir works. I am ready go ---come on along. Haygood
