Having problems with message search?
Hi All . . . I hope a good number of you were in the audience Sunday afternoon for the Lafayette Concert Band's Memorial Day concert at Angelle Hall. If you were, you know that the featured soloist was our own Rusty Rodin. He did a fine job and I was proud to know him.
Rusty . . . you need to know this . . . as we were leaving a woman behind me said to her companion, "I hope that young man's mother was here to hear him sing." I couldn't help but reply, I don't believe she was but I know his wife and two children were here (I had seen Karen and the kids sitting on the front row) and she said "He's married! He's so young and such a lovely voice." I proudly told her that I knew you and that we were both members of Chorale Acadienne. She was awed and very impressed, guy.
Hope you are having a good summer. We're traveling a lot and look forward to our Chorale start up in August.
