Dear Chorale Friends,
I am happy to say that the flooding has not caused us trouble. The
worst flooding was about an hour north of Cedar Park. We are
experiencing record LOW temperatures and daily rain. I can live with
that. My in-ground watering system has yet to be used.

My subdivision pool is so wonderful in the morning. I am usually
there by myself. I think the retirement phase of my life will hit me
in mid-August when the big yellow buses start to roll.

My mother isn't doing well. She is more agitated and has started to
fall. She is only a mile away, so I check on her often.
