Friends:
Jerry and I remain absolutely overwhelmed by the love and honor
you gave us this past week by dedicating your entire season
of Chorale concerts. We thank you
"mille fois" for this incredible tribute which touched us deeply.
What we have done is no more than what all of you do from week to
week.... nonetheless,
we were thrilled by it all, and were especially amused by the
bit in the paper that said we had invented opera!!!
WE are proudly displaying our plaque of honor.
It is hard to believe that Chorale is almost 30 years old now.
Dr. Greg Loumas,the guy sitting behind us,
attended CA for the first time, and he was moved to
tears by the patriotic songs. (He is from Boston!)
The party after the concert was fun ( Dr. Grumpy enjoyed it!!!).
And now we look forward to the Christmas concert and Messiah Sing Along.
Thank you again, one and all. It is even more meaningful to get these
good thoughts
while we are still alive to hear them!!!!!!! (Ed Roy had a joke about
that for us
at the party!!!!)
