Dear Chorale Members,
Thank you for allowing our students use of the piano for our LPTA Mooathon. Below is a report from the co-chair, Sue Steck-Turner.
Happy Holiday,
Stephanie James Hoffpauir, Secretary - LPTA

The Mooathon was an incredible success. We had approximately 120
students play on Saturday--continuou s music from 9:00 to 5:15 p.m.
The studios of Michele Day, Stephanie Hoffpauir, Rosa Lynne Miller,
Sharon Ringo, Sarah Roy, Sue Steck-Turner and Kathryn Watson
participated. It was a wonderful, pleasant, FUN day--no stress, no
tears, lots of cow bells and clapping!
As of the weekend, $4569 has been raised. There is a separate
playathon scheduled for this coming weekend and some pledges that
have not yet been returned.
We want to purchase the $5000 Gift Ark. The ark includes not only
two cows, but also two each of sheep, camels, oxen, water buffalo,
pigs, goats, donkeys, llamas, beehives; 2 trios of ducks, rabbits and
guinea pigs; and 2 flocks of geese and chicks. These animals will be
going to Russia, Tanzania, Uganda, Cambodia, Armenia, Haiti, Kenya,
Ghana, Guatemala, Ecuador, China, Nepal, Bolivia, and Arizona and
Arkansas!
If you and your studio did not participate, I am asking you and/or
interested families to consider making a donation to complete the
total amount. We should have our total by Monday, December 17. I
will be back in touch with you at that time.
Mooey Christmas to you.
Sue
