I'd like to put in a plug for the arrangement I did of "Simple Melody"
last year. I thought it was important to divide the small group of men
into as few parts as possible, so I cut it down from 8 parts to 3.
Basically, it's the baritone part for "musical demon...", the tenor
part to "won't you play..." and the bass part for "bum bum bum...".
The leads would have to sing one of these three harmony parts because
the kids are rather overwhelming on the three melodies.
