If any of you guitarists out there are also webmasters, this is an organization
worth checking out...

It's actually been around 10 years or so and has been through a lot of changes
and improvements. Get a lot of friendly advice. Newly re-done forum design.
Greetings! I'm Ted Hamilton, a 29 yr. old campus minister at Pitt and
Carnegie Mellon. I'm trying to assemble a contemporary music worship
band for my group, and need interested musicians.
I bounce around between keyboards and bass, but am looking for college-
age and 20-somethings that would be interested in helping me lead
worship for our group. Sometimes I may lead, sometimes just play,
maybe not even play at all, depending on the skills, desire, and
personality-mix of whomever responds to this.
Check us out on the web at http://www.csfpgh.org or email me at
ted@.... Alternatively, give me a call at four one two-612-4029
(written that way to avoid bots...) Thanks, and may God stir the
hearts of people He wants here... ~Ted
I am a graphic designer by trade and am also an active member of my church music
ministry, playing mandolin and guitar in our church folk ensemble. I just
discovered this
list and am looking forward to chatting with my contemporaries about string
instruments
in liturgy, sound reinforcement and other issues that concern our ministry.
As a graphic designer, I have also designed and marketed a series of
custom-designed t-
shirts and other items to help support our music ministry at my parish, St,
James Church
in Lititz, PA. We are about to embark on a major church renovation and
expansion which
will strain our already tight budget and I hope to help offset some of the cost
of
purchasing music, supplies and equipment so that we may continue to bring our
music to
not only our congregation, but to our community as well.
If you would like to see some of the items you may view them at:
www.heritagemusicpromotions.com/uniquetees.html
I can also design and produce custom designed merchandise for your group if you
like.
Any purchase will help us to continue our work and keep pastoral music alive and
flourishing in our part of the world, and your help and support will be
appreciated and no
doubt returned many fold.
I look forward to chatting with list members about our wonderful work.
Bob,
Guitar Plus in Wexford does repairs and is a
Breedlove authorized company.
Jason is a good guy to deal with.

If you are familiar with the song, it shouldn't be too hard to strum it.

Hello, I am new to this group. I am a youth pastor who has decided
to learn how to play rythm guitar so I can lead my youth in praise
and worship. Would anyone be willing to help me with strumming
patterns to some popular CCM songs? I've found many sites that have
the chord sheets and lyrics but they don't list the strumming
patterns, is this illegal or something? Any help would be greatly
appreciated. God Bless. Mack
