It's been way too long since I posted and I'm so sorry about that.
This has been one of those years of huge occasions for everyone and
our family is no exception. The recent highlights are our son
getting married at the end of September and our first grandbaby,
Lilee Jane, was born at the end of October. Frank and I are so happy
about gaining 2 new members to our family!
As a matter of concern, our Lilee Bean (as we lovingly call her) was
diagnosed with truncus arteriosis last Wednesday 11/28 and is now at
Stanford/Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in Palo Alto, CA
awaiting open heart surgery. As you can imagine, we felt like we had
been gut punched when we heard the news. After getting through our
initial shock, the Lord started bringing the comfort and peace we
needed to help us trust Him more and walk confidently with Him
through Lilee's surgery. Her surgery is tomorrow, 12/5, and I'd
appreciate your prayers for her and our family.
Our Christmas this year will be quiet. We'll be celebrating Jesus'
birth and all He did to secure our healing. So how about the rest of
you?
