A half a year ago there was a show called "Protagonistas de la Musica"
[Headliners of the music] which was also known as the spanish "American Idol",
because 14 spanish people competed for 10 weeks to win a contract and become the
next spanish singing sensations, at the end of the 10 weeks there will only be 4
finalists and they were, Miguel Angel Guzman, Barbara Higuera, Ricardo Muñoz,
and Rebeca Montoya, at the end the winners turned out to be Miguel Angel
Guzman and Barbara Higuera. But, just like "American Idol", Protagonistas de la
Musica, came out with a 2 compilation cds which features the top 14. Anywayz, I
bought both cds today and it turns that in the cd called "The Best Of:
Protagonistas de la Musica" Ricardo Muñoz [one of the male finalists] covered
Contigo
en La Distancia [one of Xtina's spanish songs] in this album, except he sings
it in a male version but most of the lyrics are the same.

I know it ain't something big, but I thought I would share. :):):)
