Monday 24th June

MIKA BOMB NEW SINGLE LAUNCH PARTY
THE BARFLY @ THE MONARCH (book in advance)

Three bands (SHACKLETON, THIRTY SECONDS TO MARS and, of course, MIKA BOMB)
and three DJs (Jim and his Super 8 collection, me and my Punk and J-pop
stuff and Emma from Kenickie - so excited!) look to make this late-night
event a bit special. Plus you'll be able to buy Mika Bomb's new single,
'Contact Tokyo', well before the release date. Hurrah!

I'm on twice; 9-10pm (before Mika Bomb play) and 11ish-12ish (after they
finish).

worth hanging around on the night because there's bound to be some audience
turnover; the Barfly will be operating a one out, one in policy. Flyers are

All the usual stuff; live bands, DJs, food and drink, market stalls, massage

10-11:30pm, so get there early! My set will include fab tracks by Cibo
Matto, Shonen Knife, Puffy, Ex-Girl, Cornelius and Jimmy Nail (not really).
