Ahoy!

Here's news of a great gig for you: I'll be DJing alongside Mika Bomb once
more, this time at an Asian night called Sticky Rice (details below).

DJ KyuKyuSha (that's me) will DJ aaaaaaaall night (7pm-1am), playing the
very finest in (mostly) Japanese punk, pop, rock, Shibuya-kei and the
hokey-cokey, plus some nice pan-Asian ethnic stuff to kick the evening off.
I've just spent two weeks record shopping in Japan, so my set's had
something akin to a blood transfusion. New Cornelius? New Aiha Higurashi (of
SSKHKH)? New HalCali? New Yuki? Very old Blue Hearts? YES, and more besides.

ALSO Mika Bomb are playing around 10ish, that new Daft Punk video's getting
an airing, Manga visuals will trickle down the walls, and there's food and
art and oh my. If you're thinking this sounds a bit like Tokyo Mania only
smaller and run by Malaysian lasses, then you and I think in very much the
same way, and maybe we should get married.
