i really think i'm losing the ability to make myself clear!
what i meant in relation to LANARK is that from an "insiders
position" i see connections between the work of Cindytalk and
the ideas and emotions of Alasdair Grays' epic novel.and as
it is a surrealistic story of a young Scottish artist at odds
with his surroundings [whilst showing a deep love of them][at
odds with himself too i think - a very cindy-like position ;-]
i figured it might be of interest to BL or anybody else who
cares to listen.i just got the impression my initial response
was a tad egotistical.carnt stomach that shite.sorry.
