i recall the first time i've heard sharp was a duet 12'' cover
to 'sixteen days' by 'modern english', featuring liz frazer. that ep
was the b side of 'kangaroo, ivo's 'this mortal coil'. sharp's video
performance on the video and the leaves that fell made a me cry.
i guess to hear cindytalk you need to be in real unique state of
mind, and you can hear it once a year just like the way an old rare
scotish whiskey is brewed. 'camouflage heart' is one of those albums
that were composed and designed to be heard once upon a time, just
like 'clock dva' - 'thirst'.
my favorites tracks in ch are hard to choose, because i think the
whole is a master piece. but if you really push me to side, i
guess 'the ghost never smiles', 'disintegrate', 'memories of skin and
snow' and the track with the line 'the temple is burning down faster
then you can ever imagine' are my choice.
sharp's soaring divertional voice that cuts your insides with knifes
and after a while pad you with warmth within along fragments of
industrial noise and piano, creating a tense insane atmosphere made
my skin goose like.
cindytalk did a soundtrack 'the wind is string...' of a forgotten
film, macbeth, a double album 'in this world', and a 7'' single i
never heard 'transgender'. please comment of trangenders, how does it
sounds...
sharp is a real rare wasted talent. i wish he would thrill us again
like he did before
