From Cindytalk's myspace blog:
"We decided that our LUMINAIRE gig wasn't quite right! We decided that we needed
to play
again this year!!! So we accepted a gig at the ludicrously named The GAFF on
Holloway Road
in north London. It's a Subterraneans gig but they have invited us to play
alongside them and
SPC ECO who are apparently three fifths of CURVE.Well,Curve don't mean a lot to
us but
DEBBIE SMITH of Curve/SPC ECO and Echobelly was in one of London's first lesbian
punk
bands MOUTH ALMIGHTY alongside CINDYTALK'S DEBBIE WRIGHT and that does mean
something so we are most happy to to do this Xmas gig.Oh and GUY EVANS the
drummer in
SUBTERRANEANS was in in the legendary VAN DER GRAAF GENERATOR
who i went to see live many times in the mid-1970's and who were a fairly strong
influence
on the music of the FREEZE and CINDYTALK,so that also means something to me
personally.
Bloody Nora!!!
